Dalum Landbrugsskole, Academy of Agricultural Business, Denmark is an occupational college, which receives subsidies from the Danish Ministry of Education. Consequently the college is an occupational college subject to the law of agricultural education in the same way as the other 15 agricultural colleges in Denmark.

The college is a self-governing institution and controlled by a board. The members of the board are elected by and among former students and members, which are appointed by the county and the municipal.

The college has experience in international work obtained both in connections with international activities in Denmark and in connection with international projects abroad.

Dalum has over the last years built up close relations to organizations and universities abroad in order to exchange students, lecturers and information. A formal co-operation is established with “University of Nebraska-Lincoln”, “Iowa State University” in Ames, “UCDAVIS” in California, “CAEP in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, CCID in USA as well as several universities in Australia.

Furthermore Dalum has a close cooperation with MARD (Ministry of Agriculture and regional Development) in Hungary and a number of AG-colleges and AG-universities in Hungary, but also in the Czech Republic and other formal and informal co-operations in new and old EU countries.
